Style Tips: What I’m Wearing for Fall

As a personal stylist, it is my job to keep up to date about what is current for each season. Oldies but goodies are some of my favorites!

Funny how styles come back around - and nothing could be more true this fall. Classic necklines (ie the polo type collar), plaids and yes - argyle - are back for fall. Brown also remains the hero of the season, still going strong as a base color for may colors! Think light spring like colors paired back to brown like lavender or lighter pink - I even love light blue with brown. Here are some of my favorites this season…

Some items that feel old but new again:

  • Plaid - it always comes back, but I love it this fall in pants mostly.

  • Argyle - not pictured here, but argyle is making a huge comeback. A great way to add some pattern to your sweater situation.

  • Dark denim - feels fresh and perfect for the cooler months.

  • Loafers - always a fall go to. But so many options this fall are making them feel so chic and easy to wear.

  • Scarf sweaters - no need to add another accessory here, many styles already have them attached!

  • Brown - need I say more? Always a fall favorite but really making a big splash this fall. Love it.
